We’re sorry, but Tiny Orange Daycare does not offer short-term care.

For young children, familiar teachers, friends, and a steady daily routine are important in helping them build a sense of security, trust, and belonging. Short-term enrollment means the group goes through a new child joining, adjusting, and then leaving again within a relatively short period of time. These quick changes can disrupt the sense of security children have already built and change the familiar, stable environment they are used to.

Children who enroll for a short period still need a full adjustment period. During that time, teachers need to spend a great deal of time and energy providing one-on-one attention, comfort, and support to help the child feel safe and adjust to the new environment. This care is very important, but it also means less time and attention for the children who are already with us long term, and the overall quality of care can be affected as a result.

We don’t want to fill a short-term opening at the expense of the quality of care our children deserve, and we also don’t want to place extra demands and pressure on our teaching team because of it. We truly understand that every family has different childcare needs, and we’re sorry that we’re unable to help with short-term care. Thank you so much for your understanding.
